Sessions include:

painting,  paper-pulp bowls,  wire sculpture, handbuilding clay,  printmaking and recycled art.

 

CHILDREN'S ART HOUR: AGES 7 TO 11

                           SATURDAY'S AT 12:00 - 1:00

$10.00 PER STUDENT.                               

A variety of art materials with be explored. This is a guided lesson with room for self-expression and self-experimentation with the materials provided.   Working under State and National Standards for Art Education.  Artist and Educator, Beth Kassay will facilitate students ages 7 TO 11

       Curious how the masters did their amazing art? This class offers guided instruction in drawing and painting to learn the basics of line, shape, space, value and applied texture in two-dimensional artwork.  The session will include: drawing, painting instruction and review: Self-evaluation as we look at and discuss the work created.

Open studio is time to continue a project, develop their own images and explore independently the techniques taught is the goal for students in this class.  Ages 11 to 16 with Beth Kassay
