A variety of art materials with be explored. This is a guided lesson with room for self-expression and self-experimentation with the materials provided.   Working under State and National Standards for Art Education.  Artist and Educator, Beth Kassay will facilitate students ages 6 TO 11

Curious how the masters did their amazing art? This class offers guided instruction in drawing and painting to learn the basics of line, shape, space, value and applied texture in two-dimensional artwork.  The evening will include: drawing instruction, painting instruction and review: Self-evaluation as we look at and discuss the work created. The fourth Thursday of each month will be open studio night for students to continue a project or explore independently with the mediums taught.  Ages 11 to 16 with Beth Kassay
