Prints will be pulled on quality printing paper. Cost: $50.00

MOKUHANGA PRINTMAKING!
SATUrDAY AND SUNDAY
JULY 19TH & 20TH
2:00-5:00/@ Artspaceeast
A summertime favorite! This workshop uses the traditional
printmaking techniques of hand-pulling a print with a baren.
Incorporating relief printing with stencils, the images are built up with layers of ink. The possibilities are endless, and each image is unique.
Saturday participants will develop an image by working on one easy
cut relief plate and cut out stencils. Sunday the studio time is for
inking and pulling prints. Not to worry we get the wood grain in there to make our print a true Mokuhanga!
Artspaceeast uses only Akua non-toxic inks and quality paper. Come
explore the joy of printmaking!
$100.00 all materials provided.
Limited to 4 participants.

SATURDAY August 2nd:
Assemblage
Without a doubt, Tinkertown itself is one big assemblage! With 2 D and 3 D art elements making up walls, ceilings, mini-worlds and rooms. The entire space is an interactive art experience created by Ross Ward while many of us “were watching T.V.”.
Participants will create art using collage, paint and 3D objects (both old and new). This workshop is open-ended and fun. Come play with “stuff” and let your imagination speak for itself!
Starts @ 5:00 Cost: 50.00
October 4th :
Figurative
Sculpture
Much of the art created at Tinkertown was hand carved wood sculpture and the setting was constructed to fit the many characters. Participants will use an 8” mannequin & an air-dry clay to sculpt a character from your life- real or imaginative -oh- maybe a family member or that boss from years ago.
For those of us who love the third dimension, this workshop is for you. Cost: $65.00

All workshops at Tinkertown are limited to 9 participants.
