WEEKEND LINOCUT CLASS:

SAT/ SUN   April 11th & 12th@2:00

This workshop is for beginner printmakers and

for people already familiar with relief

printing.  The relief printing process is one where lines are carved into a surface (matrix).  Lino-cut it is just that, using a linoleum matrix. The raised surface is inked and printed on rag paper. Saturday students will develop an image, trace that image onto the surface and carve out the negative areas.

On Sunday we will "pull" an edition of prints.

Options of adding a color base will be explored.

This is a hands-on fun workshop with support from beginning to the end!

ArtSpaceEast uses non-toxic Akua ink for

printing.

A SUNDAY Art  AFTERNOON: 

Origami cranes!  

APRIL 26th @ 2:00

Come fold crease and create with squares of paper- participants will make 4 cranes and string 3 of them with beads to hang.

A lovely keepstake or gift!
