PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP!

July 18th & 19th @ 2:00 

This workshop uses the traditional

printmaking techniques of hand-pulling a

print with a baren. Using relief printing and

stencils, the images are built up with layers of

ink, the possibilities are endless and the

images are unique. Saturday participants

will develop an image by working on one

easycut relief plate and cut out stencils. Sunday studio time is for inking and pulling prints. Artspaceeast uses only Akua non-toxic inks

and quality paper.

ADULTS ONLY, REFRESHMENTS AND INCLUDES A TOUR OF ROSS WARD HOME AND STUDIO.

​FIGURATIVE SCULPTURE       ON 

SATURDAY AUGUST 8TH @ 5:00

Much of the art created at Tinkertown was

hand carved wood SCULPTURE and the setting was constructed to fit the characters.  Participants will use an 8” mannequin covered in an air-dry clay to sculpt a character from your imagination,  your experiences or your travels. For those of us who love the third dimension, this workshop is for you.

SEPTEMBER 5TH @ 5:00

RELIEF PRINTMAKING:  

 Ross Ward was, not surprisingly, was a prolific printmaker. Many of his woodcuts and etchings are part of the permanent collection at Tinkertown. Participants will create using an easy-cut 6 X 8 plate to carve an image into. Ideas and images will be available to work from. Prints will be pulled on quality printing paper. Email or text to reserve non-refundable deposit required to register. Open to 10 participants;
